Dr. Abigail Brown was awarded the Brown University Joukowsky Dissertation prize in the life sciences for her multi-omics analysis of FOXO pioneer activity in human cells. This honor is awarded to one individual each year for their superior achievements in research. Congratulations Abigail on a well-deserved award!

Our study describing how the hypothalamus ages at the single cell level was accepted at Nature Aging today! HUGE congratulations to co-first authors Kaitlyn Hajdarovic and Doudou Yu. Very excited about our latest work on hypothalamic aging using single cell transcriptomics.  Click here to check out our preprint by Brown students Kaitlyn Hajdarovic and Doudou Yu. We find major changes to microglia, neuronal subtype specific changes, and a female-specific mechanism of aging!
